Merge PDF Portfolio

A PDF Portfolio is a special PDF container that holds multiple files as embedded attachments. Instead of merging pages together, each document stays independent and can be opened or extracted individually inside a Portfolio-compatible PDF reader.

A merged PDF combines all pages into a single continuous document — the files lose their individual identity. A Portfolio keeps each file separate while packaging them into one container, like a ZIP file but in PDF format.

Adobe Acrobat and Adobe Reader provide the best Portfolio experience, including a cover page view and file navigation. Other readers like Chrome and Edge may open the container but show a limited view.
