Redact PDF
Permanently remove sensitive text, names, numbers, and images from a PDF by selecting areas to black out. Unlike watermarks, redaction removes the underlying data — it cannot be copy-pasted or recovered.
- 1Upload a copy of the PDF you want to redact (keep the original separately)
- 2Select the text or image areas to redact by clicking and dragging
- 3Apply redaction marks — the tool shows what will be removed
- 4Click 'Apply Redactions' to permanently delete the selected content
- 5Download the redacted PDF and verify the sensitive content is gone
