No. Real Domain Authority (Moz), Domain Rating (Ahrefs), or Authority Score (Semrush) are calculated from a site's actual backlink profile — the number and quality of sites linking to it. This tool has no access to backlink data at all; it only scores your domain name's TLD, length, and character format as a simple, illustrative heuristic.

Points come from three name characteristics only: TLD (.com scores highest, .org/.net next, others lowest), domain length (shorter scores higher), and whether the name is all-lowercase letters — plus a flat base score. None of this reflects real authority or trust.

Moz's Link Explorer (moz.com/link-explorer), Ahrefs' Website Authority Checker, or Semrush's Authority Score tool — all analyze your actual backlink profile to produce a real, comparable authority metric.

It can be a lighthearted way to compare domain NAMES you're considering registering (e.g. is a shorter .com 'name-wise' stronger than a long .net) — but don't use it to judge an existing site's real ranking power or link equity.
