Net Margin = Net Income (PAT) divided by Revenue times 100. You enter your net income figure directly; this calculator doesn't derive it from a full P&L.
This calculator notes rough ranges: software 15-25%, manufacturing 5-10%, retail 1-5% - useful as general context, though actual margins vary widely by company and market conditions.
Gross Margin only deducts COGS. Operating Margin also deducts operating expenses (via your EBIT figure). Net Margin goes furthest, using your bottom-line net income after all expenses, interest, and taxes.
Use the profit-after-tax (PAT) figure from your income statement - this calculator takes it as a direct input rather than computing it from other line items.
