Net Asset Value — the per-unit price of a mutual fund, which changes daily based on the fund's underlying holdings. Your invested amount and current value are both derived from units × NAV.

Absolute return is the total percentage gain over your whole holding period, regardless of how long that was. CAGR annualizes that gain, letting you compare returns fairly across holdings of different durations.
